Why hire a personal trainer?
How well do you think a sports team would perform without a coach? A trainer
serves as your coach to motivate you to develop good habits around fitness and
nutrition. Most people need guidance and clear direction when developing these
habits that will become a regular part of your life. If you are like most
people, you have a life team comprised of doctors, financial advisors, clergy,
home assistants and more. A trainer will be a valued member of that life team
as well, insuring you keep your physical health and well being in tune as well.
Why is training so expensive?
When you compare the cost to the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, it really is
not that expensive. Personal training is a long term investment in your
productivity and wellness. When it comes to your health, you're either going to
pay now or pay much more later. Your body is the most important investment of
your life, and, fortunately, it's something you have control over. When you are
fit and healthy, medical bills drop, sick days are reduced and you are more
energetic and productive. A good trainer should want you to "graduate" from
personal training and transition into working out on your own. That means they
have been successful in instilling healthy lifestyle habits that you can now
practice for the rest of you life.
How many sessions per week should I meet
with a trainer?
This depends upon your goals, how quickly you want to achieve them, your
schedule and time available to exercise, and your budget... but when considering
the cost, be sure to remember that this is your health and there is nothing on
earth that is more important... because without it you have nothing. On average,
most clients do best when they meet with a personal trainer 2-3 times per
week... less than that many people will slack off and not get nearly as much out
of it. The more frequently you meet with your personal trainer the faster you'll
see results and achieve your goals and there are several reasons for this...
consistency, accountability, motivation, guidance, you'll work much harder with
your trainer than on your own, etc.
How long until I see results?
Exercise has a cumulative effect. It honestly depends primarily on how bad you
want to achieve your goals and how hard you are willing to work. My personal
training programs will allow you to get the most out of your fitness and
nutrition. On average, most clients lose approximately 1 pound of body fat (not
scale weight) per week and often will lose 6-12 pounds in a 6 week period. If
you are consistent with workouts and follow the meal recommendations I provide,
we typically see noticeable physical changes in 3 weeks.
What kind of equipment is inside the
Mobile Gym?
The Mobile Gym is fully equipped with cardio machines,
resistance machines, free weights, functional strength training equipment, and a
smith machine. It features climate control, insulation, carpeting, mirrors and
lighting.
I want to workout at home, but I don't
have any equipment. Will I be able to accomplish anything?
Yes. Of course, it is always better to have access to quality cardio and
resistance equipment. However, it depends upon your physical condition and
goals. A lot can be achieved without any equipment. Also there is a range of
excellent in-home fitness equipment, including resistance bands, ankle weights,
dumbbells, balls and other easily stored and relatively inexpensive, yet
effective items. You must remember, the most important ingredient needed to
change your body is desire, motivation, hard work and commitment. If you have
these, the rest will fall into place.
Miracle Mobile Fitness can design a
custom program for you based on your goals, abilities, and available equipment.
What if I cancel a session?
Once you have scheduled a session, you must cancel the session more than 24
hours in advance or you are responsible to pay the trainer fully for that
session.
What happens if I am late for a session?
The trainer is not obligated to make up time due to a client's lateness. More
than 15 minute lateness constitutes a late cancellation and the trainer is not
obligated to conduct the session. In some cases a trainer will wait and work
with you for the remaining time. But this is solely up to their discretion. In
either case you will be charged fully for the session.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Nearly all of the programs can be split up into multiple payments. I accept
payments in the form of cash, check, and can even accept credit card payment
through Paypal.
I have done everything, but I still can't lose
weight. Is there anything you can do for me?
Losing body fat effectively is the result of a combination of specific
nutrition, calorie burning aerobic exercise and resistance exercise carried out
consistently for a particular duration of time. We usually find that when you
think you are doing "everything," one or more elements specified above is either
not being carried out correctly or is not being carried out at all. Sometimes
people will try a variety of fad diets one after the other for short periods of
time and then give up. Or they may get on the treadmill at the gym for 15
minutes two times a week and wonder why they can't lose fat. Body fat reduction
or "getting lean" is the single most requested goal of clients who come to us. I
will work with you on an effective nutrition and fat-burning exercise program
and will discuss how long you need to sustain this program to achieve results.
They will then help you to attain the discipline and motivation to carry it out.
